Calm Again

Now he's ready to hang out with dad again on the couch. He's all shiny cause he's been eating his 'Fit and Trim' puppy chow to help keep him slim and trim. He gets plenty of knuckle bones to eat too, and his favorite form of exercise to help keep his 'sleek physique' is playing with his best friend, Dodger, aka 'Mr. Puppy'. at Grandma and Grandpa's house in their backyard. :)

Getting Fitzy

Right before he decides to get up from his naps, Chiefie decides to get a little 'fitzy', showing his 'psycho eye' (when the white part of his eyeballs show). He most likely has to go outside since he has laid around all day!

Don't Bother Me

Next, it's mom's turn to snuggle on the couch with Chiefie... but I think he's trying to push me off the edge so he can spread out and have the couch all to himself!

A Little Tired

This is one tired puppy on a lazy Sunday afternoon. He and dad just got up from snuggling while taking a nap on the couch together.

Best Friends All Worn Out

This is the sweetest thing I think I've ever seen in my entire life. This other adorable puppy is Dodger, my parents' puppy, named after my grandma's favorite baseball team.
He's almost 2 years old (his birthday is officially on Valentine's day), and he is a shepard mix. Dodger was also adopted from the No Kill Animal Sanctuary in House Springs, MO, just like Chief.
Dodger and Chief are best friends who hang out a lot together for 'play dates' at my parents' house, their favorite place to play. They fly around chasing each other, investigate mole noises in the backyard, and watch so that golfers and neighborhood 'riff-raff' don't get too close to the fence.
At the end of their play time, this is what these two worn out puppies look like. :)

Princess Leia

When you peel his ears
back, we call him
'Princess',
since he looks
like Princes Leia
from
Star Wars
with a bun on each side of her head. :)

Happy Puppy

Do you think he's a happy puppy???
He says, 'If mom thinks I'll smile good for the camera, then maybe she won't mind if I nibble on dad's clog for a little bit'. :)
His tail looks like a little inchworm crawling up the wall.
